Optimization and simulation
Models that search all options of a design question and find the best one, developed in doctoral research on ridepooling.
Engineering
Background in mechanical engineering: engine testing at DEUTZ, powertrain research at Volkswagen. The basis for turning engineering questions into models and automated workflows.
AI agents in engineering
Engineer and agent work in the same software. The agent handles the routine work, the engineer decides.

Projects
Three projects and a few smaller tools.
| Sheet | Title | For | Shows |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Technology trends | Industrial group, via a research institute | Research agents that find technology trends early and back every claim with a source. |
| 2 | Boat compiler | Own project | Boat design software, built in two weeks, used by an agent and an engineer together. |
| 3 | Autonomous ridepooling | Doctorate, Volkswagen and TU Munich | Which villages driverless shuttles should serve, for a given fleet and fare. |
| 4 | Also built | A video editor for AI agents, and two phone apps. |

Finding technology trends early
Research agents for an industrial group, in development. A reviewer agent checks every claim against its source. The data is confidential, so the drawing shows an invented example.
- Client
- Industrial group, via a research institute
- Role
- Concept and all development, alone
- Period
- 2026, ongoing

Designing a boat
with an agent
Design software, built in two weeks to test whether an agent can get from a brief to a priced concept. Below, one session in a single take, waiting times sped up.

- Built alone
- Period
- 2 weeks, 2026

Autonomous ridepooling
for countryside commuters
From the doctorate at Volkswagen and TU Munich. Driverless shuttles on demand, shared by several passengers. Choose a fleet and a fare. The optimiser selects the villages to serve so that the shuttles carry the most passenger-km.

Also built
Smaller tools, built for personal use.

Video editor for AI agents
An AI agent cuts a folder of holiday videos. It analyses every clip and exports the cut as a Kdenlive project for manual finishing.

SkiTrace app
Matches recorded ski days to a resort's runs and lifts. Runs on the phone, and GPS data stays on the device.

LingoLock app
Short Spanish exercises shown before apps you want to limit, repeated just before you would forget them.
